I love being a therapist. I am deeply committed to learning and growing and have been practicing for over a decade. I have worked with a diversity of clients in a range of settings and love engaging with individuals and couples.
My focus in therapy is on relating and understanding relationship patterns, experiences, and beliefs as they showed up earlier on in life and how they manifest now even in the therapy relationship. It's intense. Mind blowing. And deeply satisfying. The relationship between myself and clients is very important: it feels safe for exploration and also nourishing. Moments of humor and imagination are a vital component of the therapeutic connection. Clients have experienced me as an advocate, direct, honest and attuned.
Professional Background
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Masters in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. I also have a Masters in Public Health and a yoga instructor certification.
